Return to Team

Always one to venture beyond ambiguity, Joel adapts a creative route toward his strategic financial roles.

Having landed his very first real estate deal at the age of 19, Joel managed to secure and facilitate a 99 year lease deal on a 100 studio property in Binghamton, NY.

Moving on, Joel founded Hamilton Eastman, a real estate holding company based in Brooklyn, where he serves as the CEO since 2013. He has since become known as a real estate mogul and strategic investor in multiple avenues. There are additional brands within the HE spectrum of resources. Joyland Group is a real estate investment group, while Prospect Developers is its primary development branch. At Joyland Management, a third and separate entity, real estate management takes on a whole new dimension. Running the gamut of a rather diversified portfolio of assets in the realms of real estate, third party litigation funding, and secondary life insurance, Joel’s approach involves comprehensive deal review that features a rare form of creative synergy in the real estate space.

A private angel investor, Joel later founded Angels of Fire on the premise of highly innovative investment structures for tech startups. With an intrinsic form of knowledge and a respect for things like literature and the arts, Joel seeks opportunity with a mindset on risk mitigation and value.

Mr. Werzberger also created a mail to order product business from the ground up and later sold his global brand, Talmu, in 2014.

At Bridgecity, Joel remains a pivotal partner in investment and asset structure, consulting with his team for well configured legal and structural details. A philosopher by nature, Joel applies analytical research to all of his deals and resources, and is known as an investment virtuoso by many. Mr. Werzberger is inspired by luminaries such as Louis Finkelstein and singer/ songwriter Leonard Cohen, ultimately turning to creative outlets such as his passion for skiing and his fascination with books.
